				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since the earth rotates one time in a single day, and the earth is approximately 25,000 miles in circumference, it seems that we should be moving at a speed of 1,000 MPH if we were on the equator.</p>
<p>Why wouldn’t the clouds move somewhere of the vincinty of 1,000 MPH? Does the atmosphere rotate with the Earth? At that high speed?</p>
<p>What is stopping us from experiencing 1,000 MPH winds each and every day?</p>
